One Way Ticket Hints
The answer words have to be on the decoder dial for each protocol.
Each panel is a word ladder — every step down (or across) changes exactly one letter.
Changing only one letter at a time on the word ladders — and using words that appear on the decoder dial — gives you PUSH RED CROSS. Enter that into the dial and it reveals two letters of the SOS stop.
That “gibberish” isn't random — it was typed on a faulty keyboard. Look at a standard QWERTY keyboard on your phone. Pay attention to the color of the typing too.
Imagine putting the keys back into their normal QWERTY order. Now press the same key positions shown in the message — that's how you find the real text.
“O” sits in the place of an “S.” “P” sits in the place of an “L.” Keep going and you get SLIDE TRIANGLE. Since the text is blue, the answer is SLIDE BLUE TRIANGLE on the dial.
The 0s and 1s are numbers written in binary. To add them, use these rules: 0+0=0, 0+1=1, and 1+1=0 with a carry of 1 to the next column — the same way 9+1 makes 10.
Color: contains Y (11001). Shape: has R (10010) and E (00101), but not L (01100) or T (10100). Action: has T (10100), but not R (10010) or P (10000).
Answer is YELLOW SQUARE TOGGLE.
Each function changes a word in a specific way. Tap the function symbol you're stuck on to get a hint for just that one.
HOLD (F3 — change first & last letter) → ROLE (F1 — move consonants forward) → SOME STAR (F5 — jumble the letters) → TARS (F1 — move consonants forward) → VAST PIANO (F4 — same category) → VIOLIN PURSE (F4 — same category) → WALLET VIOLIN + WALLET (F2 — merge first 3 + last 3 letters) → VIOLET
Entering the four protocol answers into the decoder dial gives you the letters that spell the Emergency Stop's name. You may need to unjumble them by looking at the map.
TIREVA
The bridge postcard reveals its location — you might need to look behind it from a different perspective. Try holding the postcard flat at eye level and reading it that way.
TANUR
Figure out what color the Duskwatch is using the traveller's notes, then use the photostrip to find where it's usually seen. Each bird has a unique color, wing pattern, and beak.
Yellow bird = curved beak → Warbler is Yellow + Curved + Solid. Hooked isn't Red or Green, so Hooked must be Blue.
Duskwatch — Blue, Hooked, Striped
Skyripper — Red, Sharp, Spotted
Whiteshade — Green, Broad, Speckled
Warbler — Yellow, Curved, Solid

Guess 4 (7 8 4 6) has only 1 correct digit, in the right spot. Find which digit that is. Once you know, you can cross the other three off the code completely — that makes the “2 correct” guesses much easier to solve.
Guess 4 shows 7 is correct, in position 1. That rules out 8, 4, and 6. Guess 1 and Guess 3 each show 2 correct digits — since 4 and 6 are ruled out, those must be 2 and 5. Guess 5 confirms 5 is in the code, just misplaced, and rules out 9. Guess 2 confirms 7 and 3.
